drunk in 2024, lacks bit of intensity, but still a good savennieres. 2020 vintage for $32. — 8 months ago
Very interesting. A teeny bit oxidative the first night, so I reserved judgment until tonight. Admittedly, I have little experience with this appellation’s wine. Nose on night 2 had raw honey, bruised pear, clover, and wet chalky soil. Any hint of oxidation gone. In the mouth, very full, with flavors of dark minerality and pear skin. Long and intense finish. — 7 years ago

Nice white! As others have mentioned, it’s got a baked apple thing going with an enjoyable savoriness. Very quaffable. — 10 days ago
