Nice fruit, perfect dryness for with a fatty meal — 3 years ago
Pleasant past prime but still quite enjoyable. — 5 years ago
Fruitige cassis-achtige afdronk. — 8 years ago
Powerful scent of dark plum, chocolate, caramel, and toast followed by mouth-filling black cherry, pepper spice and dust. — 10 years ago
1998. Fully mature but still has some time left. Classic cdp with nice peppery palate — 11 years ago
Fantastic price point of $35. Tannins to much to drink on its own. Pairing with steak and salad was key. Brought out great fruit. — 2 years ago

an original cuvée: Biodynamic, aged 18 months in amphorae. terroir and cepages from the south of France, for a dark, round wine with an astonishing hold in fruit that makes this wine paradoxically light to drink. Need a good decantation of two hours. drinkable — 7 years ago
Had this wine for the wife's 35th birthday - it aged perfectly very musty and stinky for 1981 — 10 years ago
Great bright fruit. Nothing complex but it is fresh, juicy, smooth and incredibly easy to drink. I would buy it again. — 11 years ago
Funky as you'd expect a Kermit Lynch rose to be. Drank this one on its own, but probably best suited to drinking with food - tannin/structure, and not a ton of fruit. Tons of personality though! I'll be giving this one another visit, next time with dinner (or lunch...or breakfast?) #rosebouquet — 11 years ago

Blend of Grenache (80%) and Mourvedre (20%) from 6 parcels in the Palastor, Bois Dauphin and Cabrières lieux-dits, located around the road to Orange in the cooler, northern part of the Châteauneuf du Pape AOC. From 60-80 years old vines Gradassi inherited from his grandfather rooted on sandy and clay soils, with few galets roulés (round river stones). Whole-bunch fermentation in cement vats. Aged for 10 months in older barriques. Intense, complex and fabulously aromatic, with aromas of dark fruit, garrigue, licorice and an edge of graphite/gunpowder. Big and powerful (14.5%) yet balanced. Earthy, leathery qualities and some chewy tannins. — 6 years ago

Surprisingly light for a CNDP. Fruity, light, quaffable — 10 months ago
