Château Bellefont Belcier

Château Bellefont-Belcier

St. Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2016

Tonight's wine is the 2016 Château Bellefont-Belcier. A Right Bank Bordeaux blend of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.

On the nose there is abundant black fruit, black cherry, blackberry, black plum, bbn lack currant, chocolate, tobacco, menthol, herbs, graphite, oak and earth.

On the palate the black fruit continues throught with black cherry, blackberry, black plum, black currant, green bell pepper, chocolate, toasty oak, tobacco and earthy flavors.

This wine is full bodied with a firm, vibrant mouthfeel and medium + acidity and high mouth coating crunchy tannins that lead into a long dark fruit finish. Let's have a wonderful weekend and please be safe doing so. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Castillon Côtes De Bordeaux Red Bordeaux Blend 2011

Very drinkable wine. Needs to breath for a little while. Beware the sediment at the bottom of the bottle! — 4 years ago

Côtes de Francs Red Bordeaux Blend 2010

Nice. Less fruity than Bellefont Belcier. Second serving: this was really nice. Very well blended This isn't very complex but overall very good. Probably my favorite for the night. blind tasted. this one was by far the cheapest of the night. I ended buying 3 of these. $27 — 2 years ago
