Côtes de Bordeaux Red Bordeaux Blend

Nice old world barnyard aroma and a good tannic mouth feel. I like it but wife hates it.

Great inexpensive wine. Pairs well with any food. Get it from Costco :)

Drank 8/19/17 with burgers. PNP

Light but fairly classic nose of dark fruits and pencil lead, with a hint of green bell pepper (5% Cab Franc in the blend). Palate of cherry and cocoa powder, and blackberry, with a touch of new oak. Medium, drying tannins, not quite enough fruit to keep it in balance. Moderate finish. Drinks a little better as it warms. Ok value Bordeaux for an everyday dinner ( I think it was around 10-12$ at Costco).

Decant for at least an hour, very good. Full bodied and tannic. Nice old world funk.

Definitely a French wine! Rubber, cumin and nectarine on the nose. Very tannic upfront with black cherry and plum notes. Mineral water on the mid palate and finishing with some spicy heat.

It grows on you - different but pleasing- actually goes well with fish. (Blasphemy 😜)

Heavy on the tannins, nice smell, short aftertaste
