2016 vintage labeled Superiore and DOC, grapes from the Piedmont region. Medium bodied. Bright sour cherry flavor, red licorice aroma, very little tannin and a touch of herbs in the finish when first opened. This wine gets better as it rests. It gains body and tannin and is less bright. You would be lucky to have this as your everyday wine. The cherry flavor reminds me of a delicious wine from Pardas Cellars using the Sumoll varietal native to Catalonia. — 3 years ago
100% Xarello from old vines (about 60 years old). Fermented in concrete eggs and French oak barrels. Mineral, saline, good length. My favorite wine from the estate — 3 years ago
Bright, juicy, clean finish. Natural wine. Loved it with lamb. Buy again. Stanley’s Wet Goods. — 6 years ago
Used it to cook with and drank along side. Perfect summer wine, mineral with a little bit of teeth. — 2 years ago
Dry red. Fun. — 3 years ago
Old vine sumoll and a little marselan. A little reductive at first, but quickly came into its own. Complex and rich, likeable. — 9 years ago

Almost oxidatif, but it‘s more the flavours of its age. Elegant and smooth. Pears and flowers. Elena and Zio! — 7 months ago
