Tasted blind today at the cellar I was off by more than a decade. These wines crawl. — 8 years ago
I am blown away! It is a great cuvee. Starts off like a strong rabbinic wine and then explodes in the mouth with four and flavors to let you crawl for more. — 10 years ago
Beautifully balanced! I want to crawl inside the bottle. — 10 years ago
Oldest California Cabernet Sauvignon I've tasted to date that's held up beautifully. Stored under a house crawl space for many years. So happy I got to try it. — 10 years ago
A post-thanksgiving crawl into Michael's dad's cellar... A little funk and manure on the nose, plus dried dark fruits and leathery, savory tones. Very pleasant drinking, medium plus body, medium tannin and acid. Would definitely stand a few more years. — 11 years ago
2013 vintage served with grilled hangar steak, charred fingerlings with red onion and purple pepper and tomato salad with oregano mint and chèvre. Exquisite nose of leather book cover, light of rome. Good acid yielding to pleasant tannin. You know when you have it and this has it . Lovely and got 2 more in the crawl space with three of the 14s. Light waning, time to relax. Godspeed troops. — 9 years ago
Syrah, grenache. PCL holiday loft crawl, awesome lava lamp loft - 🍷fondue — 10 years ago
Comment: Beautifully balanced nose that makes your skin crawl. This Barolo has deep baking spice notes balanced with herbs humid hay and a warm peppery balsamic finish. Pepper hits the palate first followed by dried herbs (organo, thyme) and a slight cherry/strawberry finish. Silky smooth tannins that give this a beautiful mouthfeel! Yum! — 10 years ago

A lovely dessert wine, before our cocktail pub crawl! — 9 years ago
Oh the sassy funk of an Austrian red. The fruit profile is complex and changes and you roll it around in your mouth. Strawberries, spiced cherries, boysenberries, coconut, tomatoes? Christmas spices, dried herbs and flowers crawl out of the glass. Tannins and acidity trade blows on the palate. There's something so unpredictable about this blend. Keep digging! — 10 years ago
Beautiful wine. Finesse truly. Not a Chianti that one would expect. If you can source it good for you. I've got another 8 in my crawl space — 10 years ago
