Interesting and tasty red from Pulgia, not sure where obtained. Dark Ruby. Forest, mushroom and ripe dark fruits, keep one sniffing. minerals and acids in balance with almost velvety coating on palate. Long lingering finish. Wonder how it tastes when young. Pretty solid rustic Nero di Troia. Probably the best of my 4-5 samples of this grape. 3 bicchieri is a stretch but it’s not like the Gambero Rosso guys don’t make worse calls. — 3 years ago
