Nutty, floral, waxy, honeyed, absolutely beautiful. Shocked. — 9 months ago
Lots of minerality with citrus, grapefruit and slight peach. — 5 years ago
silvio Nardi founded the estate at Casale del Bosco; since 1985 it has been run by his youngest daughter, Emilia. 100% Sangiovese wine aged in oak for 2 years (12 months French & 12 months Slavonian oak), Ruby with aromas of ripe dark fruits, oak and spice. Full-bodied wine with medium acidity, fine yet smooth tannins and a slight warmth of alcohol present. The ripe fruit flavors of cherry and strawberry are complex yet not overdone. Some cacao, tobacco and toasty appear on the long finish. Tasting Sample. — 6 years ago
Deep Ruby with pronounced aromas of ripe dark berry fruits and earthy forest floor notes, from a 3.7-acre plot, the estate’s highest-elevation vines (1,475 feet). On the palate flavors of black cherry and plum with cacao, cedar, espresso and pepper spice. Fine tannins, great balance, complex long finish ending with earthy herbs, fruit and oaky notes. Nice! Small production, less than 700 cases made! — 6 months ago
Still really great acidity, and ripe fruit, the cork disintegrated upon trying to open, but was not dry. Surprisingly very very good. — 2 years ago

Wow! This blend is amazing. It starts with big fruit notes - plum and blackberry. Then the tannins set in and you get a leathery finish. — 7 months ago

The label hit it right on the nose, sunshine, lemon, rich, deep flavors with a salty tang at the end. Excellent wine. — 22 days ago
