Alto Piemonte meets Loire. Crispy and herby and fruity. — 9 years ago
Beautiful bottle of 1993 Conti! Still carrying fruit and is peppy!! Aged in great conditions so she is elegant, aged red fruits, earthy with light raisins. This wine has solid tannins and acidity but I would drink now. She’s likely a bit past her prime but still a great wine!! Enjoy!! — 5 days ago
Earthy and leathery Nebbiolo, not too big. Really good. — 5 years ago
Big dark fruit without being sweet. Strong cherries, blackberries and maybe plum. Deep expression. Tannins and grippy (leathery) but still light in alcohol. — 11 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of several hours. The 2018 “Il Rosso delle Donne” pours a garnet color color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with gorgeous notes of fresh raspberry, strawberry, mustard seed, fennel, horse blanket, a touch of truffle, dried green herbs, a mix of organic and inorganic earth and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. Giving Pommard vibes…in the best of ways. Drink now with some patience through 2048+. — 13 hours ago
