The Furlani line is a tamer version of the Indigeno wines in the same category. Less fringe. Less funk. Less sour. Equally fruity but less complex. 100% Glera. (Basically a Prosecco Pet Nat). Hazy straw gold color due to unfiltered suspended yeast cells. Very light on the nose with faint notes of apricot, white flowers and dried citrus peel. The palate is vibrant with notes of ripe apple, peach, apricot and a light touch of citrus. Slight mineral note on the medium finish. Nice creamy texture and mousse along with well integrated bubbles. Almost “cider-like.” Excellent palate cleanser. Interesting! — 2 years ago
