Nice italian white blend. Drier than Pinot Grigio but fruitier than Chardonnay — 6 years ago
スッキリ爽やかで魚介にぴったり! — 10 years ago
A casual and refreshing white from Montefiascone DOC vinified entirely out of Trebbiano Toscano grapes. On the nose; sliced green apple, some stone fruits, a hint of lime and lemongrass with tropical fruits. Most of the olfactory notes concours with the palate and has a nice dry finish. Definitely, an everyday drinkable white that pairs effortlessly with all kind of seafood and salads. — a year ago
Havtorn i både smak och doft - en lite järnig ton och med en hint av apelsin. Låter som ett glas juice men det är väldigt gott med välavvägda smaker. — 4 years ago

Falesco – Est! Est! Est!!! di Montefiascone “Le Pòggere” 2024
Montefiascone, Lazio, Italy 🇮🇹
Overview
A historic and legendary white from Lazio, crafted under the DOP classification. This blend, traditionally based on Trebbiano Toscano, Malvasia Bianca, and Rosetto, carries a legacy dating back to the year 1100, when a bishop’s servant famously marked tavern doors with “Est!” (meaning “it is”) to signal the best local wine.
Aromas & Flavors
On the nose, it is floral and fruity, with notes of green apple, citrus zest, white peach, and wildflowers, underscored by light herbal nuances. The palate is refreshing and crisp, showcasing lemon peel, green melon, and delicate almond on the finish.
Mouthfeel
Light-bodied and zesty with a clean, mineral-driven structure. The bright acidity keeps it lively, while the subtle almond bitterness on the back end adds character and balance.
Winemaking Notes
Produced by Falesco (Famiglia Cotarella), one of the most respected wineries in Lazio. Stainless steel fermentation preserves purity, freshness, and aromatics, aligning with the classic style that has kept this DOC wine a regional staple for centuries.
Food Pairing
Perfect alongside grilled white fish, spaghetti alle vongole, light risotto, or fresh mozzarella with tomatoes and basil. Its crispness also makes it a great match for fried seafood or vegetable antipasti.
Verdict
A heritage-driven everyday white with historical charm and simple elegance. Casual, refreshing, and wallet-friendly, it’s a staple summer sipper with a story worth retelling at the table. — 2 months ago
