Herbaceous near smoke-point olive oil and bamboo shoots with a thin lemon juice on wet, river rock silhouette. The palate is full, siphoning into a barely perceptible tingle, adding buoyancy. Clean and delicious with shrimp in a homemade tomato cream sauce. A wiggle of the hips, a simple linen sashay, in a sunny field of white wildflower and clover. This Cortese really does it all. Curious to see it dance on the half shell. #cortese #piedmonte #italianwine — 11 years ago

Cf. My review of the 2013, this 2012 has the same copper colour but has a more defined, pineapple and strawberry bouquet. The taste is raspberry, strawberry and pineapple with very little if none of the candied fruit the 2012 had. A nice juicy finish. Overall a very good value and refreshing drink which is superior to the 2013. — 10 years ago

vintage 2020 | Wow, pinot noir from Breganza. Explosion of red fruit: raspberry, blackberry, vanilla and a hint of stable smell. Seems infaticide because it has not yet lost its tannins. Much character. — 2 months ago
