Nice red color with an intense berry flavor — 3 years ago
Deep, rich garnet to the eye and right from the jump the Modus Operandi ‘Caldwell Vineyard’ Syrah works its way to the nose and somehow finds a shortcut to the favorite part of your mind. The palate is bold and complex, while coating the palate with powerful notes of tobacco, lush & smokey currant, and a finish that most certainly sticks around. — 2 months ago
was the star of a recent testing of Carmenere wines. my first experience with this varietal on its own. quite pleasant -no flaws - seamless in structure fruits and tannins doing their job — 3 years ago
Always fun to celebrate a birthday with a birth year bottle! I opened a bottle of this a few months back and couldn’t believe how good it was.
Coming from the famed Caldwell vineyard, this has such a bright eucalyptus note! Deep red/black in the glass with no bricking! Dusty fig, sweet espresso, dirty red and black berry fruit. Even after following from bottle over 3-4hrs, this has a natural cool/minty vibe alongside dark cocoa and sweet black cassis. So much youth and tannin! I should have spaced my two bottles out…these are still cruising! — 10 months ago

Great Pinot Noir. One of the best I’ve had recently. Great nose, good body, long smooth finish. Everything I look for in a Pinot Noir — a month ago
