More than just a pretty label. Very good value wine for everyday use. Agree with comment from earlier vintage. Describing day 2 after opening. Starts sweet, then spicy, then finishes with a musky undergrowth. Somewhat dense with subtle tannins. Fruit is a huckleberry/fig melange. Overall unique and interesting. — 4 years ago

Wonderful wine had it with chicken with onions, garlic, pancetta with some Peroni beer to make the sauce and grilled aubergine on the side. — 6 years ago

Probably my favorite “cheap” Italian red. Though tannic, well balanced w dark rich fruit, high acidity, and 14% al. Earthy in a great way. Great nose. Long finish. Nice alone. Or drink w meats and/or robust pasta. $18. (One weird item: there is no vintage year on the bottle). — 8 years ago
Quite tannic. Too dry. Still fine — 2 months ago
So great- a 2020 at the end of 2025. Really enjoy from the first sip! Direct from montalcino! — 6 months ago
This can easily go up in score, pretty young but did great over 5 days tapped twice with a coravjn and then cork pull the last day.
Outside of the OG Ferrando, and there is not much else bottled here outside of them and Produttori, outstanding first try of this one. — 3 years ago
Quite special. Brambly, but not rustic. Elegant, but not polished. Bright and dark red fruits. Depth and length, but balanced weight. Magically expresses all of Nielluccio’a elements. Approachable now and has the structure for ongoing aging. — 5 years ago

Surprisingly good after the visual of a very pale rose. More white with a hint of pink. Very smooth for a great Spring afternoon of sipping . — 7 years ago

Light yellow color. Aromas of green orchard fruit, white flowers and citrus. Flavors of peaches, nectarines, tropical fruit, green apples, lemon curd, raw almonds and a very pleasing saline note. Beautiful note of minerality on the long finish. Medium-minus body (but still a bit of heft) and refreshing acidity. Lovely silky texture for such a crisp wine. Outstanding QPR.
