Santa Ynez Valley Syrah

Fun, delish Chardonnay. Bright orange blossom and lush orange fruits blend really nicely with lovely layers of vanilla and just a hint of caramel. Though the flavors sound like they would lend to a sweet wine, it's not that sweet, just really a nice wine to sip alone or pair according to flavor profile. For me, I definitely pick up a bitter undertone, but I'm rather sensitive to bitter tastes. — 3 years ago

One of the smoothest cab! It’s so easy to drink. — 4 months ago

Reserve Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

I quite like this one. I think it had just enough age on it to start to open up. Tannins were present but not over-powering. A good amount of sediment. Even better on day two. — 2 years ago

Winners Circle Central Coast Grenache 2007

Another one from the library. We grabbed a case of this from Bridlewood when they were blowing it out years ago. Lush and jammy, almost like a port today. — 4 years ago

Monterey County Pinot Noir 2017

Color of cranberry juice with a bit of purple hue on the rim. Nose of fresh cranberry, plum, some vanilla, however nose fades away a bit too fast. Taste is quite pleasing, with subtle sweetness, zesty, cranberry, tinkling on the tongue, and some spice at the end. Very easygoing. Aftertaste of some more bittersweet zest, sweetness, vanilla flavor, spice, and medium long. Kind of crowd pleaser. — 6 months ago
