Smoky and jammy all at once. Rich but accessible. Sustainably grown. Brilliant everyday drinker, but holds its own with fancier Zins. — 4 years ago
Saw this in the Ralph's bargain bin alongside some 2010 Santa Lucia Highlands pinot, which I took all of. Grabbed this to try, as I liked the look of the blend. A little rough around the edges right out of the bottle, but piles of promise once aerated. Grabbing the last 5 bottles tomorrow for the cellar and well see how it develops over the next couple of years. Right now: bold tannins, spicy zin tones and a smooth lasting finish. — 4 years ago
Another one from the library. We grabbed a case of this from Bridlewood when they were blowing it out years ago. Lush and jammy, almost like a port today. — 4 years ago
Cerebrating the start of the Christmas vacation with some bubbles! Picked this up from Chronic two weekends ago. A little sweet for our usual tastes, but paired well with some cheese fondue. — 4 years ago
