Very unique. Strong barley, spice, caramel, mocha. Lots of flavor but a clean one. Super wet. Lingers. But pleasant. — 7 years ago

Hmmm. Interesting. Not my kind of drink, but it offers complexity. Great with fried chicken 😋 B&S write-up:
This oddity of a kriek beer is rare indeed, for not only is it from one of Flanders’ original lambic breweries, it’s also made from a near-extinct sour cherry from the town of Schaerbeek. Historically nicknamed the “city of donkeys”, as donkey-drawn carts used to transport this rare Belgian varietal of sour Morello cherries, the prized fruit contains a level of depth, power and concentrated tartness which is about as close to an expression of terroir as you can find in beer.
Here, 25% old lambic beer is blended with 75% young lambic beer (made with whole handpicked Schaerbeekse cherries), before conditioning in bottle. It’s a rather straightforward process but proves to be genius – bold notes of dark berries, cherries, citrus, earth and almonds are just the beginning with this captivating offering – pour it into a big wine glass for a special taste of oude school authenticity. — 9 years ago
Tastes like the Midwest. Malty with hops, and a bit of spice. This us a true Michigan beer from one of the state's premier breweries. — 10 years ago

Stone IPA is a classic West Coast IPA from San Diego the Mecca of many great beers. This bold, hop forward IPA will never be mistaken for a more refined East Coaster. With its absolutely tantalizing hop bitterness, piney tones and vibrancy this is a big bold awesome IPA. If you like IPAs like I do add this to your list. Touring the many wonderful San Diego breweries is on my bucket list. @Bill Bender Bill this one is for you Cheers 🍻 — 8 years ago

I feel like I need some gingerbread cookies, this beer is an outstanding example of what Michigan breweries have to offer. Even the seasonal beers are great. This one have just enough pumpkin and spice to give you that warm holiday season feeling. Give it a try! — 10 years ago

Asahi Shuzo is one of the very few breweries that offers Junmai Daiginjo in multiple seimaibuai and keeps everything else remains roughly the same. As a result, you can experience how seimaibuai affects the end result. At 39% seimaibuai, it's priced right between the 50 and 39. Interestingly, it has slightly darker colour and bigger body than its siblings. Similarly nose with different finish. A little more forward than the 50 and 23 and sharp pineappley finish. — 9 years ago
American breweries should look here. Give me more of this purity. Thank god for the German purity law! Who the fuck wants peaches/oranges in your beer?! — 9 years ago

A very nice Hells beer. Brewed by one of the last remaining Monastery breweries in Germany. This beer shows that through its smooth taste, with good hops and malt balance and the slight sweetness for which Hells/Helles is known. — 3 years ago
