A much bigger and bolder Claret from winemaker Matt Loso. Notes of stewed plum, chicory and currant jam. Full bodied and complex on the palate, mild to medium tannin with a velvet finish. Great addition to my Christmas table paired with coffee rubbed tri tip steaks. — 7 years ago

Medium acidity. Light and clean taste. A little ‘bolder’ than a typical Pinot. Very, very good. Would definitely buy again. — 2 years ago
A fine California response to a great French Bordeaux. This 06 is is soft and smooth. I prefer bolder cabs, but this one did not disappoint when paired with rack of lamb. Dec 2020 — 5 years ago

Great drinking left bank Bordeaux for the price. Bolder in taste, cab forward with some added complexity from one of my favorite lesser known grapes, petite Verdot. Tannic and would pair excellent with some pepperoni pizza or good steak. Finding a left bank sub $25 is a feat, this meets the mark for the price! — 2 years ago
Yum! Bolder than most Pinots but maintains a light and soft profile. Was gift for SKO — 3 years ago
