Leather, soy sauce, meat juice, cherry, almond. Wow there is a lot to unpack here, almost too much! I like that the crazy funkiness that was present upon opening the bottle faded away gradually. The palate is marked by a strong acid backbone, with lots of grip and tension all along, there is a good width and cherry and raspberry notes all along, some gentle, yet drying tannins in the rear, pretty grainy, before a long finish with cherry, that leathery note that makes a come back and almost that sticky, grainy tannic layer. There is a fresher thing too in the end, almost minty, that's prompting you to grab for the bottle to pour yourself another glass right after the first one.
