Sourced from a plot of old vine Malbec in Medrano. warmest area of estate. Deep Ruby with pronounced aromas of black fruits, leather and earthy spice, aged in new French oak. On the palate flavors of raspberry, plum and blackberry with citrus, leather and pepper spice. Tannins are rustic and chewy, well balanced long finish ending with toasty oak, tobacco and mineral character. Nice, just beginning to develop, cellar time still warranted. — 3 years ago
