2022 Wine Extravaganza - pair with food — 2 years ago
2022 Wine extravaganza — 2 years ago
Where to start? Ridiculously good says Elizabeth. Floral aromatics reminiscent of perfume dance you towards the mid palate extravaganza of flavors - Asian pear, fresh lychee, elegant tropical fruits that move towards mid palate of small elegant bubbles with a lovely full body; effortlessly sashaying into a long finish that keeps giving. This wine is at its peak. Glad we have more! — 4 years ago
2018 Lamborn Zinfandel “The Roots Vintage” from the 2022 Wine Extravaganza- very nice. $63 — 2 years ago
Bought from Eric Edmunds wine Extravaganza — 4 years ago
French bubbling onion broth, with fungal asymmetry the partnering haberdasher’s cheese motif, and pictographs and hieroglyphic bubble letters the font-lacing. Caramel-orange and yeast with hibiscus and dried lotus slices. There is a peppermint coolness to the backnote and a clean, bok choy sweetness. Tastes of caramel and verdelho-Madeira, and lemon, orange and grapefruit interplay mutating into a cilantro and Vidalia, that ultimately return to the yeast, with marigold petals swimming in a malt and hop extravaganza. #mikkeller #nelsonsauvin #dryhopped #deproefbrouwerij #beer #bier #birra #biere #cerveza — 4 years ago

See 2 previous notes from 2019 and 2022. Rich red and black fruits with Raspberry Strawberry Red Cherry and Black Cherry. A cool tasting Pinot (temperature). Barely medium weight but with great palate intensity. The remaining few will still be kicking in 3 plus years but as I said in the earlier notes the wow factor was there when it was young and I tried it at the Tasmanian Pinot Extravaganza in Launceston approximately 5 years ago. — 10 months ago
