Great dry and toasty cremant! — 2 years ago
Deep gold. Inviting nose of lemon curd and honey. Full-bodied dry palate echoes the nose adding quince, white pepper notes, and white flowers. Medium plus acidity. This is not your father’s Pinot Gris. Barrel fermented and complex, this PG will support a wide range of fall and winter fare from pasta carbonara and casseroles to roasted poultry and roots. Drink now through 2029. Maybe longer. — 3 months ago

Dark ruby. Nose is shy and yields dark black cherry and black flowers. Palate is medium full(!) and gives up tarry black cherry, strong black tea, and a dark floral element with a medium long, dark finish. Almost New World in style (14% abv), but with a dark herbiness replacing the NW cherry fruit. The legendary 2015 vintage made its mark in Alsace as well! A PN for much heartier fare than you might expect from the Germanic regions. Pinot enough for salmon, but Noir enough for beef and balanced enough for both and more! Drink now through 2025. — 8 months ago

Star bright yellow gold. Inviting nose of honeycomb and honeysuckle. Firm acidity leads the medium-full palate of yellow apple and white flowers with (literal) stone fruit on the finish. Bone dry Alsatian Riesling that’s ready for winter meals. Pork dishes will fare particularly well, but firm flesh seafood shouldn’t be discounted. Drink now through 2030 — 2 months ago
