Paul Bert. Great bottle . — a year ago
My last bottle of this fabulous Riesling from the Great Southern district of Western Australia. See previous Delectable note. White Florals with Lemon and Lime. A faint hint of Petro Chemical. On the palate a delicious nuance of ripe pear with cleansing citric acid. A beautiful dry Riesling drinking at its peak but could hold for a few more years. Wonderful CdR - Grenache dominated. None of the cloying over fruited nature you sometimes get. Excellent aromatics - lighter red fruit especially. Good length and a very nice refreshing acid on the finish. Perfect pairing with steak frites au poivre at Paul Bert. Great value. — a year ago
Southeast dinner w Bert etc. Golden orange. Musty citrus peel. Light bodied, aged acidity, salivating. — 2 years ago
Blueberries, cherries with a slight smokiness on the nose. Garnet color. Medium acidity, well balanced and a clean finish. — 6 months ago
