Baronnie D'estouard

Château de Portets

Grand Vin Ancienne Baronnie de Gascq Graves Red Bordeaux Blend 2018

2018 vintage. The standard Château de Portets is pretty good, but this is the "Grand Vin". Concentration, impeccable balance, complexity, subtle spices, and length. Classic Graves that sells for a song. One of the finest values in Bordeaux. Abv. 14%. — 8 months ago

La Baronnie Madeleine Chinon Cabernet Franc 1989

Mason Balistreri
9.5

For a wine as old as me (1989), this was impressive and still alive. Classic chinon notes of dark, woody flavors. Mushroom and stewed green pepper. The fruit was bramble berries that have begun to take on a unami, savory component. I wish I was around to see it in it's youth just to compare, but shout out to K&L for selling wine this good and this old. — 9 years ago

Château de Portets

Ancienne Baronnie de Gascq Graves Dry Sec Red Bordeaux Blend 2019

2019 vintage. Not much information on the estate's website, second hand info suggests a blend dominated by Sémillon (60%) with Sauvignon Blanc (30%) and Muscadelle. Seriously good wine with impeccable balance, complexity and length. One wonders why they sell it so cheap. Around 10 euros. Abv. 12,5 %. — 3 years ago
