Coravin pour - light and delicious — 10 months ago
Medium body, almost light, smooth, gentle notes of violets and mild dark fruit. Went well with the risotto. Approachable now but can develop to maturity. — 5 years ago
Perfumed and well knit, all of this in a harmonious package of flowers, earth, spice, acid, and tannins. A Nebbiolo clone, Rosé, with only 1 hectare grown.
Delicious. The ‘14 was ready with a two hour decant. — 6 years ago
Beautiful, harmonious and healthy but not as complex as I thought it might be. Especially when compared to cogno-marcarini 64 — 9 years ago

Beautiful, feminine Barolo. — a year ago
Fresher & more floral vs the ‘17s & ‘18s.
Fresh dark sweet cherries, an uplifting, fresh floral note, just a hint of mossy undergrowth. Pure, light, juicy.
Juicy on the palate as well, mid weight, bright acidity, light & juicy tannins, crunchy red fruit. More balanced and less alc vs prior vintages.
Joyfully drinkable yet with quite some character & nice depth, too.
They really nailed it in 2019! What a delight! Need to stock up!! — 4 years ago

Very similar to the recent 2013, but with more roses. Again, much softer, less powerful than the Ravera and the Vigana Elena. $225 from WA. At home with Curly. — 3 months ago
Only a touch less panoramic perhaps than the recent 2010 of this. A little browning, probably still at its peak. Seems to respond better to gradual airing in the bottle or glass than being poured into decanter. $190 from Winestar. — 5 months ago
Lighter style Nebbiolo. Very earthy with some funk; dried red fruit too — 2 years ago
Soil licorice, tar , tobacco. A wonderful nose.
The palate is crunchy, black fruited and rich, good tannins and an ample finish.
Delicious wine. There is, according to Cogno,
Only 0.25 hectare of this Barbera.
The label (rear) is confusing as to wether this is in fact pre-phylloxera or grafted. Anyone know? — 5 years ago
Lovely Barbera!
Great balance probably thanks to the warm vintage — 8 years ago

Intense and deep. Leather and roasting, spices and heavy clay and chewy tans and everything in between. Drank it over three days with a variety of steak and roasted mushrooms and Italian food and it went well with everything just very broad and deep and brewing. — 2 months ago
