Still great. I was wondering if it would hold 10 years after release, and it’s a hint more rusty, but the flavor has even more of that complex ‘old-wine’ stuff in it. — 3 months ago
I think this is the estate Chardonnay vs. the st. Rita hills. Somewhat confusing. Anyway this is amazing right now. Nose of cream, lemon, peach. Palate is coated by creaminess, lemon and orange galore, stone fruit, nectarine mostly, there’s a salinity that’s so nice. It definitely gets into sea water and lemongrass at the end, but this is overall a more creamy and brioche wine. So complex. One of my favorite chards in recent memory. — a month ago
