A near perfect Pizza or lasagne red. A gentle body, low tanins, with easy drinking. — 9 months ago
I have always enjoyed their wines. I like the dark expresso notes they give and under Antinori their portfolio continues to improve.
As of 2021, their Artemis will be made from the Conn Creek vineyards they acquired; which should raise its quality and price point I’m sure.
As for the 21 SLV, it showed well and one of the better young SLV’s I’ve had in a while. 94-96.

"a rare white wine from the island of Santorini" - an amazing blend with a variety of tastes - the winemaking process draws out tastes of salt, flint, peach, and chamomile. Makes me want to be back in Greece again. — 6 years ago

I absolutely love this. It is, for a chardonnay drinker, a dessert wine, and I drink an entire bottle to myself 😁😇🤣🤕. — 6 months ago
Santorini was-6. Dried grapes to make. My very favorite so far. Reminds me of Malbec. — a year ago

Such a brilliant Chardonnay! At $35, it stands alone AND is perfect with food. It caters to every palate. It's our new go-to! — 9 months ago
Loved this white from Greece. We tasted side by side with the same grapes but from the north of Greece, wasn’t as good as this one! — a year ago
Artemis never disappoints. Full bodied. Dense. Dark fruits. Yum. — 2 years ago

The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Eisele Vineyard is the last wine Bart and Daphne Araujo made from start to finish before selling their winery and vineyard to the Artemis Group. All the Eisele signatures are there, but the volume is just turned down. Dark berry fruit, gravel, spice, earthiness and leather lend striking aromatic nuance throughout. This mid-weight, supremely elegant Cabernet Sauvignon is sublime. Drink it over the next 10-15 years. Superb. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, May 2022)

Brought home from the Artemis Karamolegos Winery in Santorini. 100% Assyrtiko 2017 from three specific small vineyards on Santorini. Two in Pyrgos and one in Megalochori. Love this wine, very drinkable. Has that minerality that assyrtiko gives, but smoother than some. — 7 years ago
Far Niente-good balance. I think I like this. But this has the deep berries taste. 9.0 slightly more complexity than the Artemis. But there is a .., guess I never finished the review — 7 years ago
