Wild, juicy, and tannic with an impressive dark amber hue. — a year ago
Allow time to breathe before drinking. Opens with VA and Brett but does simmer down with some air and the rumblings of well-intentioned banter. Although there was some delicate and welcomed stone fruit on the nose and palate, it was slightly lacking in an acidity that was needed to round-out and deliver the flavors. Finishes flat, on the roof of the mouth. Too shy to be judged and exposed by other tastebuds, possibly. I do like this producer though, so I’ll certainly be returning for more. And, well, as natural wines go, like a bad piece of fruit, it could have just been this bottle. — 6 years ago

Itata grown syrah that is very uniquely unconventional in flavor profile & aroma. Boysenberry character sans veering into the overly jammy realm. Medium to medium + acidity help it & the 12% abv! — 2 months ago
