2004 Martha’s Vineyard, Heinz is one of my very favorite Vineyards. This was a big rich wine, Hints of licorice, dry fig, and leather. Stop good acid , tannins are nice and dry, this wine stays in your mouth for good 45 seconds, a real classic! — 4 years ago
One of my personal staples, semi-sweet, fruity and forceful. Not as minerally as the name would imply. — 2 years ago
Tangerine honey, grapefruit sugar, with peonies, the most perfect, spun cotton candy, chamomile, pear and apple and almond and hazelnut, chutney, and toast with a nano marmalade containing frozen peaches. The exquisite peach blossom honey, chamomile, sultanas, elderberry, gooseberry, quince, dried starfruit and lime. Incredibly layered in folds of dried and concentrated richness. #riesling #deutschewein #wein #beerenauslese #dessertwine #botrytis — 3 years ago

It’s only shy of 10 because I do want it to be a tad more sharp. However, what a great find and alternative to Riesling. It skews on a honeydew sweetness note. Perfectly refreshing for a hot summer day. — 2 years ago
