Tonight's wine is the 2016 Spottswoode Mary's Block Sauvignon Blanc.
On the nose there are very distinct notes of grapefruit, peach, lime, melon, herbaceous notes and minerals.
On the palate there are lovely notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lime, white peach, grassy notes, herbaceousness and minerals.
This wine is medium bodied with a crisp and clean mouthfeel, medium + to high acidity that move very well into a long citrus and mineral finish. What a beautiful Sauvignon Blanc this is and it has at least another 5 years or more left in store. Please have a wonderful week ahead, stay safe and healthy and it will be the weekend again before you know it. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂 — 4 days ago

Perfect Summer wine, so much better than most rose. Tasty, full of red fruit, a little bit chilled and you are off to the races. — 8 days ago
Enticing #centralcoast white blend of #chardonnay and #pinotblanc. Deep golden yellow in the glass, golden pear skin, apricot, and honey notes on the nose. Despite the dark color the use of oak is very subtle. Svelte acid / fruit / alcohol balance on the palate and the wine shines more as it warms up. Some caramel notes. Sumptuous mouthfeel - this is a sturdy-bodied white. — 9 days ago
