Mise En Place Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

Tried this beside the Reserve du Dumas. The reserve is definitely a more refined cab all around. But this Mise drinks very well now. Strong tannins and acidity matching ripe red and black fruit, minerality. A fine wine at a very nice price. — 5 months ago

Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2019

Pale lemon with aromas of citrus and tropical fruit with dried herb, citrus and grassy notes. On the palate flavors of apple, mango citrus and some grassy tones with lively acidity. Medium finish ending with earthy herbal, grassy and mineral notes. — 2 months ago

Fin de Journée Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

As a teacher, the name caught my eye. Happy to say, it’s definitely good for the tastebuds as well. A solid wine. — 9 months ago

Mise en Place Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

First try of the ‘18. Fruit coming through nicely with some tight tannins. Needs a nice aeration now. I’ll leave the rest for another year plus. Black and red fruit, nice minerality. — 3 months ago

"Réserve du Dumas" Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

My first bottle of the ‘18s. Should’ve heeded my review of the 17s, a decant is definitely required at this point. With some air time, the red and black fruit really come forth, truffle, earthy, dusty, floral. Very nice light mouthfeel yet with a medium plus finish. I’ll be letting my other bottles age a bit, if I can, or at least remember to decant at least 45 min. — 5 months ago
