Dry Red SB Tavkveri 2017

This is a delight and drinking gorgeously. Reminds me of sitting at a cafe in Tibilisi years ago. A good memory i’ve been chasing for almost a decade. Strong dark red color with dried cherries, leather, and chocolate on the nose. Structure is great, the tannins are not too intense and acidity is just right. Prunes and spice, a little earth. Rich. — 2 months ago

Dry Red Saperavi 2016

Then there is this wine that the god of wine created to surprise everyone. Just when I thought I figured out wine, I got slapped with this legit red wine from Georgia. It’s a breathtaking wine. I am typically not a fan of too much extraction… 105 days of skin contact in this wine. The tannins were so smooth and in your face while plenty of fruit and acid to balance it all. Only 13.5% alcohol for such a big body wine. Loved this wine! — 10 months ago
