Tamber Bey

Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

Tamber Bey is my newest discovery. What an amazing diamond in the ruff. This is 2017 Tamber Bey cabernet sauvignon. Bouquet is raspberry topped cheesecake. The initial palate begins with blackberry tartness which folds into a buttery chocolate spice. This is followed a beautiful dark fruit that has a sweetness the implements the tartness. So many flavors.... blackberry, black currant, sweet ripe plumbs, Then comes the oak finish very dry and very tart, but absolutely perfect in a big bold cabernet. This is pure magic!!!! Excellent job Tamber Bey! After decanting for 30 minutes it was absolutely superb. — a month ago

Deux Chevaux Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

Tamber Bey 2015 cabernet sauvignon. I am trying this wine for the first time and it is fantastic on day two after opening the bottle last night. We have that typical fields of Lavendar and wild violets on the bouquet. The palate begins with amazing dark berries and a little splash of cherry. It’s so good I’m going to the website now to order some more. Now comes vanilla, molasses, leather, and a very oaky-Earthy mid pallet. The finale really brings in the peppery and dry finish in the entire mouth. WOW! This is a beautiful Cabernet I’m going to order of the 2017 Oakville and compare. — 2 months ago

Family Farm Vineyard Pinot Noir 2016

Pop and pour, but notes from 1.5 hrs open. This might bey favorite incarnation of this wine so far. Also apparently the vintage with the least whole cluster (15%). On the nose: lovely perfumed nose with sweet red raspberry, wild strawberry, loads of spice, soft herbal.notes. On the palate: excellent acidity and density: soft grapeseed notes, dark black raspberry, and soft, finely grained tannin on the finish. — 2 months ago

I’m surprised at the low ratings. I had the 2012 and it was really enjoyable. — 3 years ago
