American Bordeaux that tastes like it could be from Bordeaux. Well made American Bordeaux left-bank blend. I believe Malbec replaces Merlot in this blend but it would be hard to tell the difference. This needs a decant. Still a bit sharp; none of the cliche vegetal notes associated with cab franc, but there is a citrus pith. The finish and aftertaste are really nice. — 9 years ago
