New to Sauvignon blanc and bought this on a whim. Really enjoyable for beginners! — 9 days ago
This wine won best tasting out of 10 different Sauvignon Blancs! Someone commented, “It blew my socks off.” Wairau has an intoxicating aroma of beautiful floral and light citrus notes. Very well balanced wine with medium body. On the palette are white-fleshed fruits, grapefruit, pineapple. Nice acidity. Well done, New Zealand!! — 25 days ago

So, just arrived in Australia this morning for some wine exploring, and my wife wanted a wine we could sip, so here we are drinking Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc. As fine as the “regular” Greywacke SB is, this wine seems another level up, gooseberry aromas and flavors, really complex, actually reminds me of the early Cloudy Bay SBs we drank a fair amount of after visiting the Cloudy Bay winery back in 1994. — 17 days ago
