A friend had a “reduction party” as he was needing to thin out his cellar. Definitely a party I’m happy to attend!
One of the better Napa SBs I’ve had. Love those mountain SBs because of the profile and power they exude. Aromatically it showed ripe grapefruit, sea salt, fresh squeezed lime over rocks, and wild flowers...even some mint. While a more round profile, it’s still a bit jagged at this age with acidity. Added notes of melon, pink sea salt and tart lemon lime. Definitely tropical, but not as much as Aesthete’s SB. This will age nicely. — 2 years ago
The 2004 at 15-years of age is still youthful! Well balanced as always, just a wonderful blend, love the fruit with tea notes, oak is fully integrated in the wine pure silk! Held up well against Harlan, Scarecrow, Morlet, Hall, & Rudd Cabs. Just a. Lass act! — 3 years ago
Fruit forward with peach, apricot and balanced out by the oak. Mt Veeder fruit! — 2 years ago
Today was an absolutely fantastic Friday hosting at the City Club by @Dan Fitzgerald. 1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds, 1 dessert wine. Great job Dan!
On a night where the whites and reds were all 99-100 pointers, this stole the show. Jaw dropping in terms of how light, yet youthful, this was. Most guessed this was an ‘80s port. Astounding shaved dark cocoa, blackberry infused fig bar and raspberry liqueur spread over old graham cracker notes. It was floral but also dense. Fantastic. — 3 years ago

Crimson in colour. Sappy cherry aromas - earthy notes. Sour cherry flavours, juicy red fruits, some spice. Light to medium bodied palate and tannins. Apparently a little bit of Chardonnay goes into the blend with the Gamay. Obviously more a summer than a winter drink but curiosity got the better of me. I don’t drink much Beaujolais but this was highly recommended by Roscoe at Prince Wine Store in South Melbourne. Congratulations @PrinceWineStore for being named in the Top 10 Wine Stores in the World! Saw the list in the regular email I get from Acker in New York. Acker were #1 ; Berry Bros and Rudd in London were #2 . — 2 years ago

Super impressive. Carmel crème brûlée. Nutty. Almost a savory dessert wine. Unique. — 4 days ago
