Love it! Had with Tom and Debbi at their house. Had potatoes and leek soup, beets/leek/mandarins salad, wild mushrooms potatoes and wild rice from Millennium and vegan ice cream. Has bright popping aromatics of juicy raspberries, cranberries and pluots. The wine is big and massive yet incredibly smooth with a hint of sweet cream. With a luscious and velvety mouthfeel, the wine finishes with lingering ripe black plum and fades softly and slowly. Blend of Grenache, Petite Sirah and Syrah from California — 17 days ago
One of our favorites, very smooth — 3 days ago
A blend of (changes each vintage) mostly Chard, with Sauv Blanc and Muscat, aged in 35% new French oak for 8 mos. Grapes sourced from some new AVA’s this year, Sonoma Coast, RRV, Santa Lucia Highlands & Atlas Peak AVA’s. Pale lemon with aromas of stone & citrus fruits with complex floral spice. The palate shows flavors of peach and apple with hints of sweet lemon, vanilla and wet stone. The wine is well balanced with integrated oak, crisp, lively acidity and a long finish ending with pepper & mineral. Nice! — a month ago
A blend of Petite Sirah, Syrah & Grenache, aged for 10 months on French oak (40% new). Deep Ruby, aromas of black fruits, cedar and sweet spice. On the palate, ripe plums, jammy blueberries and sweet cherry with slight oak and vanilla spice, pours like syrup. Long finish, allowing soft tannins to open in your mouth. Good structure, great mouthfeel, ending with pure fruit and dash of minerality, drinks well now. Produced with 12 different labels. Wow! — 6 days ago
Cherries, currant, plums, chocolate. Tannins and alcohol are balanced. Paired perfectly with slow cooked ribs (spicy dry rub no sauce) and a Montechristo classic series cigar — 17 days ago
Solid, complex, more like a Chard, but wonderful. — 2 months ago
Purple hue, ruby rim variation. Strong tearing and extraction.
Ripe black and red fruits on the nose such as plum sauce, candied blackberry, cassis, and black cherry, also sweet baking spices, vanilla, dark chocolate, tobacco, violets, and wet earth.
Balanced, albeit warm, on the palate. Full bodied, intense, heavy mouthfeel, silky tannins, and a long finish.
