Really excellent Merlot and drinking nicely. Still a big wine but mellowing a bit and definitely interesting flavor with an earthy build. Hard to save these but worth it. — 2 months ago
Plum, and dark fruit. A bit oaky for me, but still a nice merlot. — 6 days ago
Quick note from a charity dinner event. 4th bottle.
There are plenty of fresh red fruits to balance the ripe black fruits on the nose. Powerful full body, the flavor is more savory than the nose suggests. Oak is well integrated. Ample candied tannins.
Very nice cab from Oak Knoll, an AVA I’m not familiar with. — a month ago
Lots of flavors- cassis, blackberries, and cherries to name a few! A bit syrupy, earthy and sweet as well. High alcohol content but the alcohol did not overwhelm the fruit. — 2 months ago
Nice floral aroma. Blue and black fruit big up front, with very nice structure and balance. A great smooth drinking wine. Very enjoyable. — a month ago
Light and oaky, delicious and crisp. Buttery citrus with hints of apricot, blackberry, and kumquat. Finished very smooth without an unpleasant aftertaste. Almost nickel/metallic apple ending notes. Gentle on the mouth and easy to drink. — 12 days ago
Pleasantly surprised at how bright this was despite the age. Oaky for sure but still had some acidic tones and fruit. Nice balanced choice. — 2 months ago

Still quite inky with just a little lightening at the edges. Starts a little tart and astringent but then presents cassis, plum, chocolate and black tea. Finish is quite long with a hint of bell pepper and lingering tannins. — 12 days ago
