Élu Meritage Red Blend 2015

Napa Bordeaux-Style Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (74%), Merlot (10%), Malbec (7%), Cabernet Franc (5%) and Petite Verdot (4%). Deep red/ purple color. Aromas of black berry/plum, coffee, smoky oak and black strap molasses. Palate is rich and full of black and blue fruit, toasted nuts, black licorice and baking spices. Nice vanilla element on the finish. Lovely silky structure, texture and tannins. Quite complex but well balanced and very easy to drink. Sincerely appreciate the gift, Mark and Terri! — a month ago

Jefferson Vineyards

Meritage Red Bordeaux Blend 2019

One of finest vintage yrs for this estate, as evidenced by the OPULENTLY RICH PV component. Jeffersons terroir and taste of place are evident in this bottle… Think somewhere in between Paso Robles Cab and Rhône GSM. - very unique finish. Delish and a real value! $28 at Wegs — a year ago

Paso Robles Meritage 2021

Color of purple, quite dark and dense. Nose of ripe dark fruits, black berry jam, grape jam, and some acidity. Taste follows the nose with backbone of mature tannins. A bit leafy and grassy with nods blackberry jam flavor. Good acidity and sweetness balance. Aftertaste shows a bit more minty and mineral note. Clean and on par. — 9 months ago
