Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2012

Wow.... first swig after the twenty bench cabernet Sauvignon.... dull. But let’s consider .... Napa to France... bold switch.
It has opened up and light and refreshing and quite pleasant.

Straight Shooter Willamette Valley Chardonnay 2018

Really delicious Chardonnay from Dundee Oregan! Quince, peach, cantaloupe, yellow apples, and honeydew. Fruit bowl with mild acidity and soft vanilla! Sub $13! Simple deck sipper! Rating reflects QPR! — a month ago

Côte du Py Morgon Gamay Noir 2018

fruity on the nose but the mushroom funk definitely comes through. Plums, raspberries, blackberries, cherries, both fresh and cooked but not jammy or dried. Long acidity but not overpowering of the fruit. Soft tannins. Really good for $20 — 8 months ago

Chateau Vivier Monopole Fleurie Gamay Noir 2016

The 2015 was great; lovely floral notes, fruit but so much more backbone and dryness than I had ever experienced with Beaujolais.

This 2016 seems less lovely, less floral and simply an interesting dry red wine.

$20 at a supermarket in Michigan.

We liked it. Great red, drank over a Sunday evening dinner. Not too much tannins with enough fruits — 6 months ago

The Attaché Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2014

Yummy Pinot. It opened with intriguing, vibrant spicy red and blue berries notes that expanded from the mid palet to your back cheeks. Nice subtle tannins on the finish. — 9 months ago
