2018 vintage. White Alentejo blend (Roupeiro, Rabo de Ovelha, Antao Vaz, Tamarez, Alicante Branco and Arinto) by winemakers António Maçanita and Sandra Sarria. Old vines, whole bunch fermentation, no malolactic. Bright yellow. Spicy and floral with power and some complexity. Authentic and very good value. — 2 years ago
A great project from Antonio Maçanita in the Azores - the original Verdelho in a pure style from Pico island on volcanic soil - something to discover, taste and drink if you can #winelover — 7 years ago
Portuguese Red Blend (55% Touriga National, 25% Castas de Vinhas Velhas, and 20% Sausao). Big black and red fruit aromas and flavors. Hints of leather, purple flowers, spices and tar. Dark inky color with medium tannins, good balance and a long finish. Bold and concentrated, but not out of control. — 9 months ago

Really nice and light citrus up front with a nice honeysuckle on the tongue, dry finish, yummy! — 4 years ago
2019 vintage. Another great wine by Antonio Maçanita. 100% unoaked (hence the name "Touriga goes naked") Touriga Nacional from Alentejo. Intensely perfumed, very floral (violets), intertwined with blackberries and black pepper. Juicy blackberries and spices in the mouth with a nice peppery length with retronasal violets. Original and amazing value at 12,50 euro. — 2 years ago

A historically significant grape on Long Island as well as Portugal. There’s some great research I’ve found over the years about the Isabella grape. If anything, this is a vine we should plant more of here on LI. This wine is really compelling. Tart, saline and joyful. — 5 months ago
