2019 vintage Langhe Bianco.
An unoaked field blend of white grapes planted in the coolest of Cerretta blocks in Serralunga d’Alba within Barolo.
46% Chardonnay, 25% Sauv Blanc, 24% Nascetta and 5% Riesling.
Bright straw colour with aromas of stones, grassiness and flowers.
Stinging freshness and acidity with lemon, pear, citrus, fresh sage and cardamom.
A great mineral finish.

Classic mid weight Barolo. Lots of tannin obviously. Very nice texture and perfume. Mid palate has some pretty beautiful complexity so I think this truly has 2-3 points upside. Day 1 had more perfume day 2 was better with regards to everything else. Definite qpr if you can get below $60. — 6 years ago
Classical in style but great density in this outstanding vintage for Baroli. Crushed flowers, cinnamon and other spices, very mineral, long, lots of potential. Decant a few hours before or let it sleep another 5 years or so. Excellent stuff. — 5 months ago
Red cherry and black cherry on the nose wrapped in a warm leather overtone with a hint of floral or star anise. Intense sensation breathing in. But on the palate the intensity softens to reveal hints of bittersweet cocoa and crushed dark fruit. Like classic Nebbiolo this wine loves and responds animatedly to food. Beautiful opening up and smooth finish with a dynamic linger that changes over the course of a meal. We had the 2009. — 4 years ago
