Remarkable! This gold-medal winner really does check all the VARIETAL boxes! Floral woven red berry poetry: check....acid and tannin “harmony”: check....deliciousness!: CHECK :) PS...it’s #vawine — 3 years ago

Excellent white wine from northern Virginia. Very buttery with hints of honeysuckle, strawberry, raspberry, and smoke. Highly recommended. — 5 months ago
A more budget friendly RDV bottle! This was the hit of the night. Balanced like the beefier blends, notes of clove, tobacco, and herb balanced with some black cherry. Not a bad showing for the age! — 2 years ago
Nice complex well aged Cab aromas, bracing acidity but delicate mid-palate, and long fruit/tannic finish. A very nice wine. — 3 years ago
Nicely balanced, this is starting to enter its transition phase. Drink now for a Pinot like offering — 4 years ago
Fantastic- nose of forest floor, dark cherries. Some cedar on the palate, dark cherries, dark plums (almost prunes, but not quite), medium high tannins (still), medium to full bodied. Complex, but not as complex and lingering as i was hoping for. — 6 months ago
A very earthy red! Deep red, lots of tobacco, dried herbs, wet moss. A good recommendation that I would revisit. — 2 years ago
Def one of my fave styles, so good — 4 years ago

This was really impressive. My first try of Virginia wine and what a great example of the potential. Mesmerizing aromatics. Berries, herbs, coffee beans, rosemary, underbrush. Silky on the palate with a fresh and tannic finish. It’s a shame Virginia wine is almost impossible to find in Europe. If I could, I’d explore more. — 2 days ago
