Very dark rubi robe, nose of dark fruits, cherries and anise. Medium bodied, good complexity and acidity, goes really well with food. Dry finish with a hint of residual sugar. Its excellent and good now, has lots of potential. We really liked it. — 8 months ago

Quite restrained on nose and palate. A slight touch of TDN amongst the white and yellow florals. The “young vines” were planted in 2000 and are no longer young as such. The Estate Riesling from this producer is one of the better Rieslings in Australia - from Henty on the Victorian south coast. A touch of sweetness with the mineral acidity. — 2 months ago

See previous Delectable Notes 134 weeks ago and 114 weeks ago where I said have the last bottle when 10 years old ie in 2023. A touch of paraffin creeping into the nose. White florals, ripe mandarin, silky texture - almost unctuous, low acid. Hint of peach. The word for this Riesling is Rich. A beautiful Riesling, probably at its peak. — 7 months ago
Valentine’s Day 2019. Excellent. Top of the Sauv Blanc list. Comparable to Kim Crawford. — 4 years ago

From the hotel minibar. Very NZ Sauvignon Blanc. Grassy, lemon, racy acidity and a little herbal/floral at the end. I haven’t had this style in a while, and I’m really enjoying it after a successful day out in Mile End. — a month ago
