Alte Reben Mataro 2010

Purchased at the winery a few years ago, this is awesome. Amazing secondary aromas, this is a seamless expression of mourvedre that exhibits incredible complexity. Just an aweome wine. — 3 months ago

Barossa Valley Mourvèdre. How cool. Know if it’s winery only or if you can find bottles on the secondary at all? Would love to try one.

@Shay A, not sure. Have only seen it at the winery.

Two Hands Wines

Concordis Red Blend 2015

David T
9.2

Clearly not an entirely a Two Hands wine. Not often do four wineries get together and make a wine. Generally, when they do, it's for a charity. This one is for children. Everything is donated down to the bottles and corks. The wineries involved in this creation "Concordis" are Kaesler, Seppeltsfield, Torbreck and of course Two Hands. — 4 years ago

@David T I smuggled a magnum in my suitcase to bring home. Loved the concept- still haven't tried it.

Reach for the Sky Shiraz

David T
9.1

Delectable does not have this Reach for the Sky label. I liked the layers in this wine. Starts with broad dark fruits, big warm spice, mocha, caramel and a beautiful, full, round, drier tannin finish. Better in 3-5 years. — 4 years ago

Cabernet Sauvignon-Shiraz 2010

Pencil shaving, violet and chocolate on the nose with dusty wood,, cedar and a touch of liquorice. Meaty dimension that integrates well. Cheers Bernie ! — 5 years ago

The Bogan Barossa Valley Shiraz 2003

Been a while since my last Kaesler & stumbled across this by accident. 17yrs old & “STRONG LIKE BULL!” 😆
Plenty of rich, anise/black cherry to carry w/ the oak. This could go another 7-10yrs...or so it seemed! An impressive wine.
