Thomas Brothers' Pinot Noir 2018

Dull ruby. Complex red fruit and oak spice on the nose does not hint at the depths of serious savoury bite and structure on the palate. Intense, tightly packed sour dark cherry, smoky mineral notes. Real energy and power. Reminds me of Rippon. The tannins are present but at one with the savoury oak. This is serious stuff, and would only improve from here. Estate bottling is a great wine but this is up there with the best I have had from NZ (and I’ve had a bit!) Fill your boots!! — 12 days ago

North Canterbury Pinot Noir 2018

Very spicy, oak oriented nose. Clean, honest, and fresh. Palate is med bodied, cherry, sandalwood. Simple and quite short. Quaffable and a decent “village” Greystone, but the Estate is worth the extra $$ IMHO. — 18 days ago

California Chardonnay 2017

Tasty refreshing modern style California #chardonnay - white orchard fruit, little bit of butter/richness to let you know it’s Chard and the right level of tartness. I liked it even better than their Cab I had at the same happy hour. — 3 years ago
