What a smokeshow. Gorgeous nose of cherry liquer, cassis and lavender. Amazing purity and so not gloppy Grenache. Smell those Galets. Spice and licorice as well. Palate is so fresh and elegant with unreal purity. So juicy and Stoney with a trickle of heat but as it airs it will integrate. Lovely texture and freshness. Long finish. — 3 years ago
Very quaffable rose for a hot night. — a month ago
Browning at the edges of a medium to dark red with a somewhat closed but complex dusty nose with a medium complex body with definite age, but not over the hill at all with a long complex aftertaste. 4.0 for the 2001 — 3 years ago
Dry but low tannins, sort of crisp with a spicy snap in the tongue. Not much aftertaste but good mouthfeel — 4 years ago
Nice CDR, juicy, fresh, raspberry, tight finish. Delicious. — 4 years ago
Deep ruby hue with strong tearing. Tart red and black fruit, such as blackberry, fig, and plum, espresso, peat, pipe tobacco, dark baking spice, wet stone conjuring an image of the galets blanketing the earth at the base of the vines. Chewy tannins and tart black fruit on the palate. Noticeable heat. Grenache-based blend. Strong, bold red from Southern Rhône. ABV 14.5%. Vintage 2012. — 2 years ago

Watermelon and some bubble gum character up front. But great concentration- a lot of fruit, candy, texture, depth. Some sweetness. This is a rosé to drink now or age. — 13 days ago
