One and done as I always say! Nice flavor will be great for one of my desserts. — a month ago
First day of summer holidays, it's pouring, it's cold, it's humid... But there's good wine so we are good.
Nose of violet, red and black currants, a bit of hay too. It's very welcoming as always. The palate is well balanced with red and black forest fruits, a nice width, a velvety mouthfeel until a mid palate with a tiny bit of drying tannins that power up a long fruity and delicious finish. Very biased here, but I love it — 21 days ago

More Special Club goodness and these bottlings just never disappoint. Pale straw with mildly effusive perlage. A sharp, striking nose shows pears and honeydew off the top. Mandarin oranges, honeycomb, and some really nice mint. With time in the glass, delicate white flowers and dough began to show off. Really, a rather interesting and pleasant nose.
A one off bottling from the single Grand Cru vineyard La Blanche Voie in Verzy. Equal parts Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with no dosage. Intense, intense champagne but softened slightly with time and air. Wonderful tension and alacrity. Very balanced.
On the palate, green apples burst from the glass. Those citrus notes reappear and then recede gracefully. A little red cherry, a dash of spice. All balance with everything in its right place. Truly, a beautifully harmonious champagne. — a month ago
Solid two-seam FB nibbling at the edges of the plate: good control, decent oomph, and a good workhorse. The price is outrageously good, though, which I reckon makes it matter more than a standard nothing btl. — 22 days ago
Lemon balm, lemon zest, and beautifully round — 2 months ago
Limpid orange-pink. Expressive red berry, blood orange and pit fruit aromas are accompanied by building mineral and floral nuances. Taut and energetic in the mouth, offering sappy strawberry, orange zest and lavender flavors braced by a spine of chalky minerality. Finishes silky and impressively long, with repeating mineral and floral notes. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, July 2021)
