Mosconi Barolo Nebbiolo 2015

Superb nose and scents of tobacco, herbs, dark fruit, spices and a floral character as well, the nose keeps on giving. The palate is not as impressive, nice acidity and typical powerful Barolo, lacks a bit of finish and elegance to it, too young for sure but doubtful it will improve that much.

Superbe nez très expressif, exubérant même et complexe, du fruit, des herbes, tabac, floral. La bouche est typée, une acidité bien sentie, assez puissant mais manque un peu de fini et de finesse, c’est très bien mais pas prêt encore et je ne sais pas si cela va se bonifier tant que cela. 90-91

Marvelous. Decanted and drank throughout the day to see how it changed. Cherry, raspberry, hint of tar, licorice, violets. The flavor lingers endlessly. Fresh and complex. — 2 months ago
