2022. Smoking. Lemony and rich. This is not typical Bourgogne. Much more there there. — 22 days ago
Apple and pear fruit with classic mineral finish. Wonderfully paired with shellfish ( scallops and lobster). — 20 days ago
Unbelievable stuff. Intense lemon and minerality. Bright and lifted. Driving fine acidity and great heft. Dazzling and delicious. Wonderful — a month ago
There’s 2015 white burg and there’s 2015 white burg. This is the latter. Undoubtedly this family made some of the very best whites in the warm 2015 vintage, managing to capture a perfect blend of richness, fruit density and racy acids. 2015 Genevrières is stunning tonight, showing all of the above with the elegance of the Genevrières site on full display, with immense depth and captivating aromatics. Its struck match-lemon cream pie bouquet makes the glass hard to put down. Textbook Meursault and a tremendous rendition in 2015. — 2 months ago
2017 vintage. Lemon zest and saline nose with toasty oak hovering about. Medium body with striking, brilliant yellow Chartreuse color. Initially and throughout, the wine was as taut as piano wire. Decanted 5 minutes after opening and tasted 30 mins after the decant. That toasty oak char came to play along with plenty of acidity. Quite the mouthful of wine currently. A tad tempestuous and in definite need of a mandatory, half-decade time out before being allowed to participate at recess again. 12.09.24. — 24 days ago

A turning point vintage for the Domaine. I don’t think anyone faired better. 2013 Perrieres while still young, is in an amazing spot, showing both richness and energy wafting spiced ripe yellow fruit, pastry cream and white flowers layered in stony minerality. The palate is full and expansive with fabulous density, focus, balanced acids and a long finish. White burg at its finest…And now these Diam corks (which began in this vintage) give aging Lafon peace of mind 😅 — 8 days ago
